Fitness Tip: A New Walking Shoe That Tones Muscles And Burn More Calories
by Paul Lopez
I don't conceive there is a person out there that wouldn't want to shed a few pounds. I have tried losing weight for years and have tried many different strategies. I have tried strategies like gym memberships, Jenny Craig, get fit books. I have had many success stories, but none of these strategies lasted very long. The one thing I am a true believer in is exercise. But I can never find enough time to dedicate to doing the necessary amount of exercise needed to have an impact. I am happy to say that I have found a solution to help me in my quest to burn more calories and help lose more pounds. It is known as Skechers Shape Ups.
It is a range of footwear that has a lot of benefits for the body, one in particular is that they help burn more calories when walking. But wait, you say, how can a shoe help me burn more calories?
The secret to this footwear is found in the sole design. Skechers Shape Ups have a multi-layered pivot sole that mimics treading on the sand. If you think about how it's more challenging to walk in the sand, then you get a rough idea of how these shoes work. What happens when you wear them as you walk is that more muscles are being worked, therefore increasing the amount of calories being burned.
Burning more calories is only one of many features of the Skechers Shape Ups, all of which are occurring as we walk. Time savings is a big plus, because you won't have to spend hours in the gym. All you have to do is put them on and start walking as normal. It's that easy. Don't get me wrong though, you still have to watch what you eat. Just because you own a pair of this footwear and actively wear them on a daily basis doesn't mean that you can go to all you can eat buffets and pig out.
Skechers has made a wide range of Shape Ups to choose from. They have shoes available for both men and women, and come in a sneaker form as well as sandals called Tone Ups.
Once in a while there are bargains online for these Skechers Shape Ups. Even if you don't locate any discounts, just keep in mind these shoes are worthwhile investing in to be comfortable and healthy.

The MBT Goti caught my attention because of the sleek design and appearance. They have a genuine leather upper with beautiful stitching details and a hook-and-loop collar flap with push buckle closure. It might not look like a regular winter boot because of the curved heel, but mbt Goti boots have done a good job with dressing it up to look more fashionable. MBT Masai Walking Shoes - Review of MBT Safiri
I have never owned a pair of MBT Masai Walking Shoes or any other type of special walking shoes before. My interest in these particular shoes stems from the fact that I work on my computer all day, and have started to get some back pains and pains in my joints. However, since it is required to have the product before I can really comment on them, I have decided to join the new fitness revolution and buy a pair of these new MBT Masai Walking Shoes.
The walking shoes are called MBT's, short for Masai Barefoot Technology. It is the first physiological footwear, meaning it benefits the whole structural system of the body, so it's not just working on the feet, but also working on the structural system like circulation and different muscle groups. Arguably, a shoe for walking that is ideal for people with joints problems or those who want a fully body workout, or those that even want to remove cellulite. It doesn't feel like a workout, which is the beauty of the mbt shoe. All you have to do is wear it.
I purchased a pair of the MBT Masai Walking Shoes called the MBT Safiri. When I received them, I was a bit thrown back on how weird they looked. They looked clunky and huge. I put them on and was instantly feeling weird. They rock back and forth, due to the curved sole. But after a few minutes of wearing these sandals, I became use to the weird motion and began to walk around. They actually felt really good. Walking felt better from some reason. As you walk, the shoe actually propels you in a correct fashion. When standing still, you feel more upright and my back felt more straight.
I have been wearing them now for the last few months and I can honestly say that I am extremely pleased with the quality of this walking sandal. The positive changes I have seen in my back pain since I began wearing the footwear is remarkable. I feel better and healthier and think this walking shoe has really helped my posture. I can look back and say that I am reaping some benefits from wearing these shoes and highly recommend them.
MBT Masai Walking Shoes comes in many flavors, based on the time of year and what your needs are. They have a line consisting of sport trainers, MBT Masai Walking Shoes and hiking boots. A perfect fit for all tastes.

MBT Shoes - A Healthy Shoe for Your Joints
Do you have joint problems and need to find a pair of shoes that will be healthiest for your bones and joints? Which ones will help blast the fat, but not your knees? Good question! A good walking shoe is essential when undertaking a walking workout routine. Every step places a lot of wear and tear on the feet and joints, about five hundred pounds of pressure with every stride. This article discusses a fitness shoe that is very joint friendly and an excellent solution for people with knee problems.
The name of this footwear is called MBT shoes. It is a brand that has an innovative curved sole that provides instability as you walk, turning flat ground that we walk on into uneven terrain like walking on a beach. It has several benefits including improving core muscle strength and burning more calories, but one of the more crucial advantages of these shoes is that they provide protection for the feet, knees and other joints from all the shock placed when doing casual walking or undertaking a strict fitness walking regimen.
Most of us know first hand that aging brings on knee and joint problems, and that remaining active is critical in staying healthy. The MBT shoes will help to keep you moving, allowing your body to increase blood flow and lubricate joints, thereby easing some of the pain.
The key to the MBT shoes effectiveness on reducing joint pain is the multi-layered sole. It works as a buffer between the ground we walk on and our feet and joints. The curved sole allows for more equal weight distribution as you take steps, so you are not jarring joints as you stay active.
Another reason why these are the most joint-friendly shoes is that they help tone muscles that surround your knees, hips and back. They challenge the muscles to work harder and tone them much more than walking alone. This can help reduce the amount of pain by improving your posture, alignment and overall joint mobility.
So if you are looking for an easy, fast way to get in shape and protect those knees this spring and summer, give the MBT athletic shoes a try. You can find them in local boutique retailers, but your best bet as far as finding the widest variety of styles is to look for them online.

Top 5 Benefits of MBT Sneakers
The anti-shoe, also known as MBT sneakers, are not your normal kind of footwear. It's a relatively new concept in shoe design developed to be both physiologically and anatomically correct. The idea was brought to light while studying the tribes of Africa and how they walked. It was discovered that this nomadic group walk extremely long distances on a daily basis, with a most amazing realization that they had perfect posture and a low amount of back pain even though they were on their feet for long durations. It was found that they walk barefoot and on uneven ground and is attributed to the tribe’s healthy conditions. The MBT and other footwear were developed to mimic this instability and do so with the innovative sole construction. MBT sneakers are known for the extra weight loss possibilities, but there are several other features that I’ll describe in this article.
MBT sneakers are known across the globe for the weight loss benefit with the extra calorie burn one receives while walking, but it also includes the following benefits:
1. According to studies, they have been proven to improve the posture and gait.
2. The MBT sneakers increase muscle activity in the buttock, rear thighs and the lower limbs.
3. This footwear increases oxygen intake.
4. The abdominal muscles get a workout when wearing these shoes with the increased amount of muscle engagement.
5. The MBT sneakers has been shown in research to reduce stress on the hip and knee joints.
The benefits of the MBT sneakers are not only present when walking. Even when standing you can enjoy the benefits such as increased muscle activity in the back, buttock, rear thigh, abdominal and lower limb muscles.
Now, if this does not convince you, then nothing will. The anti-shoe is probably the best walking shoe option available to people that have not only back problems, but also knee or hip problems. You can find MBT's at several retailers on-line, at a fraction of the cost in local retailers, and not have to leave home to get them.
